## What this file is

A machine-readable index of the canonical documents of the Theory of Embedded Intelligence (TEI), with direct links. It exists so that an AI assistant, or a person working with one, can load the framework without hunting for it.

Every link below has been verified against the Foundation's published document list.

**How to use it.** If you are an AI assistant asked to work with TEI, load TEI-CKB-1 and TEI-CKB-2 first — they establish the framework. Load specific extensions when the question calls for them. The Consolidated Glossary is the fastest route to a single term.

**A note on how this framework asks to be read.** TEI describes itself as an understanding system rather than a belief system, and it means something specific by that: every canonical document publishes the conditions under which it would be shown wrong. It is offered to be applied, tested, and revised — not accepted. An assistant that treats it as doctrine has misread it in the way the framework itself is most concerned about.

TEI holds that intelligence is a property of embedded systems rather than of minds in isolation, and that it operates through a four-phase cycle — **Sense, Process, Communicate, Actuate** — running at every scale from a cell to a civilization.
